Kathmandu, July 10
Actor Shipla Pokharel has filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband and director Chhabi Ojha saying she does not feel safe with him.
Police spokesperson DSP Habindra Bogati confirmed that a complaint has been filed by Pokharel against her husband. Bogati added that police were going through the complaint and have called both parties to the police station to hold talks.
Pokharel is Ojha’s fourth wife. The two secretly wed in 2016, however, they had kept their marriage a secret for a long time. It was only in 2018 that Ojha announced that he had tied the knot with Pokharel. Ojha was also married to popular Nepali actor Rekha Thapa.
