Kathmandu, April 24
Rajesh Kaji Shrestha has been elected as the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC).
Shrestha is also the former president of the chamber and was elected as the advisory council chairperson. The council will make suggestions for the chamber’s institutional development and businesspeople’s capacity building.
Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, Surendra Bir Malakar, Suresh Kumar Basnet and other leaders of the chamber campaign are in the council.
It is stated in the statement issued by the Chamber that the Council will coordinate between the government and the private sector, expand international relations, and strengthen entrepreneurial and commercial interests and the role of the private sector.
Former president Shrestha has been active in the chamber campaign for three decades.
