NEPSE: Turnover decreased with NEPSE, fell to 1969 points

Kathmandu, April 27

On Monday, the NEPSE stock market index fell to 1969 points. A total of 15.41 points decreased compared to the previous day and Rs 2.5 billion was traded throughout the day.

Yesterday there was a turnover of Rs 2.26 billion. As the price of 49 companies increased, 186 decreased while 10 remained stable. The index of the finance group decreased the most by 2.1 per cent.

Sectors like Banking decreased by 6 points, Development Bank by 37, Finance by 41, Hotel and Tourism by 17, Hydropower by 22, Life Insurance by 80, Product by 79, Microfinance by 38, Life Insurance by 56, Others by 8 and Business Group by 12 points.

The price of People’s Power increased the most by 6.9 per cent. The price of Manusi Microfinance increased by 4.2 per cent, Win Nepal Microfinance by 4.2 per cent and Himalayan Hydropower by 3 per cent.

The price of Dolti Power decreased the most by 7.3 per cent. The value of NIC Asia Microfinance decreased by 7.2 per cent, Himalayan Microfinance by 4.7 per cent, Molung Hydropower by 4.2 per cent, Creative Microfinance by 4.2 per cent and Gorkha’s Finance by 4.1 per cent.

Based on the transaction amount, Gorkha’s Finance, Joshi Hydropower, Sarvottam Cement, Sonapur Cement and IME Life Insurance were ahead respectively.
