Sashi’s Art Studio organised a one-day ‘Chigiri-e’ workshop for art enthusiasts at Sashi’s Art Studio, Balaju on July 25.
Artist Sapana Kharel facilitated the workshop, which had around 20 participants.
Moreover, Chigiri-e is a traditional Japanese art form which uses colourful papers to create artwork similar to watercolour painting. Traditionally torn strips of dyed paper called washi are used to create chigirie-e.
At the end of the workshop, the participants received certificates from the Artist/director of Sashi’s Art Studio Samjhana Rajhbhandari; chief guest artist Saurganga Darshandhari and artist Sapana Kharel.
