Four Nepali players have been eliminated from the Asian Games judo in the first round.
In the women’s 52kg category, Devki Maya Shrestha lost to Vietnam’s Thi Ngan Ha in the round of 16, with Ha winning by yuko.
In the women’s 48kg elimination round of 16, Nisha Shrestha lost to Hong Kong’s Wong Ka Lee.
In the men’s 66kg round of 32, Bishesh BK lost to Hong Kong’s Wong Ka Kei on waza-ari.
In the men’s 60kg round of 16, Bikash BK lost to Uzbekistan’s Samariddin Kuchkarov by ippon.
Nepal’s remaining judo competitions are in the women’s under-70kg, with Punam Shrestha, and men’s under-90kg, with Sujan Gurung.
