Kathmandu, October 3
Bangladeshi Minister for Forests, Environment, Climate Change, and Water Resources, Syeda Rizwana Hasan, met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during her official visit to Nepal.
In the meeting held on Thursday at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, discussions focused on strengthening and expanding the existing bilateral relations between Nepal and Bangladesh, with particular emphasis on increasing cooperation in the energy sector.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Oli’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bhrigu Dhungana, Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari, and Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Nepal Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury, among others.
