Kathmandu, April 8
The Kathmandu District Administration Office on Wednesday remanded Sulav Agarwal, a member of the business conglomerate Shanker Group, in custody for seven days.
Agarwal was arrested on the charge of black marketing in Kathmandu on Tuesday. He has been accused of trying to sell the thermal guns at a rate three times its price in the wake of its high demand due to the coronavirus fears.
In addition, the investigators have also claimed that he used a diplomatic mission’s vehicle for his personal purposes.
