Woman hurt as youth open fire during hunting in northern Kathmandu

Kathmandu, December 20

A woman has been reported injured when local youth opened fire during hunting at a forest of Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park in Tokha on the northern outskirts of Kathmandu.

The injured has been identified as Durga Dulal (35), who was collecting fodders during the time of incident, Nepal Police SP Ram Datta Joshi informs Onlinekhabar.

Police have suspected that the youth who were hunting some animals opened the fire. However, further investigation is underway and police have launched a manhunt to nab the suspects.

Dulal has received bullets on her soldier and is undergoing treatment at the Grande International Hospital. Doctors attending to her say she is out of danger.
