Kathmandu, July 15
Police on Sunday arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in selling a pistol, from Nakhkhipot of Lalitpur.
Krishna Bahadur Joshi, Aakuram Moktan and Hem Raj Paudel were arrested on the charge of trying to sell a German pistol, according to police sources.
The Metropolitan Police Range in Kathmandu had deployed a team in the area after receiving a tip-off that some illegal transaction was being carried out there.
Police confiscated five rounds of bullets and two magazines from their possession.
The Range handed over the suspects to the Metropolitan Police Range in Lalitpur for further investigation and action.
Further investigation is underway.
