T20 World Cup Qualifier: Nepal make easy win over Bhutan

Nepal on Tuesday made an easy win over Bhutan during their match under the ICC T20 World Cup Asia B Sub-Regional Qualifier.

This is Nepal’s fourth consecutive victory in the qualifier.

Nepal recorded a 117 run victory as Bhutan scored just 33 runs in 16.4 overs losing all wickets. Nepal had posted 151 run target to the opponents.

Neal’s Sandeep Lamichhane and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi took three wickets each. Likewise, Basant Regmi took wickets while Dipendra Singh Airee and Sharad Vesawkar one each.

In the first innings, Nepal scored 150 runs in 20 overs at the loss of four wickets. A 66 run partnership between Anil Kumar Sah and Pradeep Airee was crucial in the innings.

Earlier, Nepal had defeated Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar.

They are scheduled to play against China on Wednesday and Singapore on Thursday.
