After six months, Public Accounts Committee meeting for first time

Kathmandu, February 6

For the first time in six months, the Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee is holding its meeting on Monday. The position had been lying vacant after then PAC chair Janardan Sharma ‘Prabhakar’ became Minister for Energy.

The meeting is taking place days after the appointment of Dor Prasad Upadhyaya as PAC chief.

PAC has invited Governor Chiranjivi Nepal and Shanta Raj Subedi, Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, for discussions. Upadhyaya said financial crisis, liquidity and revenue mobilisation are agendas of the meeting.
