Six killed in Okhaldhunga jeep accident

Kathmandu, March 31

Six people have died and three others injured after a  jeep they were in fell off the road in Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality in Okhaldhunga on Sunday afternoon.

According to police, the Scorpio (Ba 16 Cha, 2207) went off the road while it was on its way to Kathmandu from Solukhumbu. Authorities said that of the deceased, four are men and two women. Police haven’t been able to identify the deceased yet.

Harkapur Police Office informed the jeep feel 500 metres from the road into Pipal river at Manebhanjyang -6. Three people injured in the accident have been rushed to Kathmandu for treatment.
