Share market analysis mobile app from Nepal bags South Asian award

Kathmandu, August 9

Nepali Paisa, an Android mobile application about share market analysis, has won the mBillionth Award under the Media and Entertainment category.

The award is established by Digital Empowerment Foundation based in India for promotion of mobile communication technologies in the South Asia region.

The award ceremony was held in New Delhi of India on Friday, August 4.

Source Code, a Nepali IT firm that developed the app, says 65 finalists were shortlisted under 10 categories from 294 applications from across the South Asia for the eighth edition of award this year.

“Winning this prestigious award has not only helped Source Code gain recognition in the Nepali IT market, but has also created a benchmark of excellence for all Nepali IT professionals in the global market,” the company’s Managing Director, Abhijit Shrestha, says, “This award has equally helped Nepali Paisa mobile application to be recognised as the most comprehensive app for Nepali share market.”
