Ruling Maoist party activists protest Ananda Bazaar killing, threaten to ban Hindi films

Kathmandu, March 10

Sister wings of the ruling CPN-Maoist Centre staged a demonstration in Kathmandu against the SSB killing of Nepali national Govinda Gautam (30) at Ananda Bazaar, Kanchanpur, on Thursday.

Sporting the national flag and shouting slogans against India’s excesses, cadres of the ANNISU-Revolutionary, YCL and All Nepal Women’s Association-Revolutionary took out the demonstration from Maitighar Mandala that turned into a protest assembly in New Bandeshwor.

Addressing the protest assembly, ANNISU-R Chair Narendra Neupane said they will ban Indian films in Nepal if the Indian government does not apologise to Nepal for the killing and take action against the guilty.
