The 14th edition of NSJF Pulsar Sports Award will be held on September 11 this year, the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum announces.
The NSJF has been honouring the players in eight categories including Best Male, Best Female, Young Player, Best Coach, Popular Player, Lifetime Achievement Award, Para Athlete and Special Award every year.
While winners of three categories–Best Male, Best Female, Popular Player–were receiving Pulsar motorbikes in the prize, the motorbike will be provided to the winner of one more category this year, says NSJF President Mahesh Acharya at a press conference today. The new category to be awarded with the motorbike has not been decided.
Winners of other four categories will get Rs 50,000 each.
The main sponsor of the event, Hansraj Hulaschand & Company Pvt Ltd, will provide Rs 1.89 million for the event, the company’s Managing Director Shekhar Golchha informed at the press conference.
