Butwal, February 22
Member of the Province 5 Assembly, Uttar Kumar Wali, succumbed to injuries he sustained in a road accident.
Wali died at around 3 am today during treatment at Nepal Mediciti Hospital in the capital, according to Provincial Deputy Speaker Krishni Tharu.
Wali was critically injured after the accident in Chisapani along the Lamahi-Ghorahi road in Dang district on February 6. He was taken to Kathmandu from treatment immediately after that.
A permanent resident of Shreegaun in Dangisharan Rural Municipality of Dang, Wali was elected to the Assembly representing Dang constituency 3(B).
