Kathmandu, April 8
The Provincial Assembly in Province 3 is all set to endorse a bill on payment and facilities of its Chief Minister, ministers and lawmakers.
The provincial government will table the bill for decision today proposing that the Chief Minister get Rs 61,000 as his monthly salary. He will get additional benefits including allowance for hospitality and communication costs worth around Rs 14,000 every month.
Likewise, the provincial government head with get a residence, and if necessary one more vehicle.
Salaries for minister, state minister and assistant minister are Rs 52,000, Rs 49,000 and Rs 47,000 respectively. They are also entitled to other benefits.
Everyone with get Rs 100,000 furniture cost once a year.
The bill proposes that the Chief Minister and ministers get allowances while travelling within the country or abroad.
