Kathmandu, April 10
Prominent industrialist of Nepal, Diwakar Golchha, passed away on Tuesday night. He was 67.
One of the owners of Golchha Organisation, the industrialist also served as a member of the Constituent Assembly representing the Nepali Congress.
He was the son of Hulas Chand Golchha, who established the organisation. Diwakar later led the process of establishing around 20 factories under the conglomerate.
Family sources inform that Golchha breathed his last in Chennai of India last night. He had his kidney transplanted just two weeks ago.
It has been learned that his body will be taken to Nepal on Thursday for the final rites.
He is survived by two sons.
