Kathmandu, March 14
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has hosted a tea reception for lawmakers of both Houses of Parliament as well as the seven provincial assemblies.
According to sources close to Baluwatar, the Prime Minister decided host the reception as lawmakers from the provinces are in town to vote in the Presidential election. The Prime Minister’s secretariat said that lawmakers were told to come to Baluwatar at 8:30 am on Wednesday.
The source said that Oli wanted to organise the reception to thank lawmakers who voted in his favour when he presented a confidence motion in Parliament recently.
