Police warn against use of abusive language on social media

Kathmandu, September 30

Nepal Police has appealed all concerned not to use abusive language in social networking sites.

In a press release, Central Investigation Bureau said use of vulgar and abusive language is on the rise in social networking sites. Victims approach us, pointing at the use of abusive and vulgar comments against them.

It asked users not to humiliate people or organisations by misusing social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

CIB warned it will take action if anyone is found using such language in social networking sites.
