Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday told members of the youth and student organisations affiliated to his party, Nepal Communist Party, to support the government’s annual student enrolment campaign.

The Prime Minister says the youth cadres should take the campaign to every doorstep and convince the guardians to enroll their kids in schools.

“We have to make the guardians understand the importance of education,” Oli said in an interaction with leaders of the organisations at his residence in Baluwatar today, “Then only they will send their kids to schools.”

The leader stated that the new generation should identify Nepal as a country of intellectuals as their ancestors were known for their intellect.

Oli reiterated that the course of political struggle in Nepal was over; hence the students and youth should concentrate their efforts on improving education, health, labour, skills and productivity in the society.

He said social reforms were the new forms of struggles in the country now.
