Kathmandu, May 13
Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli says he will pay a visit to the country’s nother neighbour, China, very soon.
Briefing the House of Representatives about the recent visit of the Indian Prime Minister, PM Oli stated that he would soon visit China as promised earlier.
The date of the visit, however, is yet to be decided.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali had visited China in April, supposedly to lay groundwork for Oli’s visit. However, before he could move ahead the preparations, India proposed the date for Modi’s Nepal visit, and it effectively stopped Oli from turning north.
It has been learnt that Prime Minister Oli will visit China after the announcement of annual budget for next fiscal year.
