PM directs Nepal’s oldest uni to produce globally marketable human resources

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday directed Tribhuvan University, the country’s largest and oldest university, to produce qualified human resources that sell in the global market.

He also suggested that the university concentrate its efforts on academic revival and qualitative development. He said the university should understand sentiments of the new generation as it is smarter than the previous ones.

Speaking at a meeting of the university’s officials, Prime Minister Oli, also the ex-officio Chancellor of the university, also directed the officials to produce maximum results with minimum investments.

“Budget crisis is a reality across the country. Therefore, you should pay attention to achieving results with the available budget.”
