Kathmandu, November 5
The main opposition party Nepali Congress on Monday has called the party’s Central Working Committee meeting for Tuesday.
Party spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma says the meeting will take place at 1 pm tomorrow at the central office in Sanepa of Lalitpur.
The meeting will discuss ongoing preparations for the party’s mahasamiti meeting. The meeting has been scheduled for November 21-25. However, it is certain to be postponed citing lack of preparations.
It is expected that the CWC meeting will finalise new dates for the meeting tomorrow. Some leaders of the party have demanded that the mahasamiti meeting be called for early December.
Yet some other leaders have been criticising the leadership for continuous delay in the meeting.
