Butwal, March 11
A cadre of Nepal Tarun Dal, the youth wing of the main opposition party Nepali Congress, has been found dead in Bhulahi of Rupandehi district in western Nepal on Sunday night.
Police say he was murdered by an unidentified group.
The victim has been identified as Anish Puri, 20, a resident of Devdaha Municipality-5 of the district.
DSP Dil Bahadur Malla of the Butwal Area Police Post says the group attacked Puri, who was on a motorbike on his way to Bhaluhi from Khaireni.
Seriously injured in the attack, he was taken to the Devdaha Medical College for treatment. But, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
