Nepal has finally won a medal at the ongoing 18th Asian Games.
The Paragliding team won the silver medal in the Cross Country Paragliding event on Wednesday. The Nepali team was only 27 points away from winning the country’s first gold medal ever at the Asian Games.
Nepal accumulated 11,364 lost out to first place Japan who had 11,391 points. This is Nepal’s second silver medal in Asian games having won one in the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok.
