NCP to organise joint condolence assembly for Bharat Mohan, Rabindra

The ruling Nepal Communist Party has decided to hold a joint condolence assembly for two leaders of the party who died recently.

A meeting of the party officials held in Kathmandu on Monday decided to organised the condolence assembly to mourn deaths of Bharat Mohan Adhikari and Rabindra Adhikari jointly.

The event will be held in Bhrikutimandap of Kathmandu this Thursday in the presence of around 20,000 people.

Both chairmen of the party, KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, will address the event, according to Aananda Pokharel, secretary at Province 3 committee.

Family members of the two deceased leaders will be present at the event.

Rabindra Adhikari was killed in a helicopter crash in Taplejung on Wednesday last week whereas Bharat Mohan Adhikari breathed his last on Saturday.
