Kathmandu, December 18
The standing committee of the Nepal Communist Party has discussed a political report presented by its leadership.
During the meeting held at the party headquarters in Dhumrabarahi, Keshav Prasad Badal, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Bhim Bahadur Rawal, Yogesh Bhattarai, Shankar Pokhrel, Satya Narayan Mandal, Somnath Pyasi and Prithvi Subba Gurung put forth their views over the proposal.
While most of the leaders spent time talking about the need to implement the ‘one post. one person’ proposal, others criticised the government for failing to deliver changes.
The report was put forward by party chairs KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Saturday. Different issues, including the government’s achievements, party’s activities, decisions taken by the party secretariat and party unification have been incorporated into the report.
The standing committee will now meet at 8:00 am on Wednesday.
