Nawalparasi, June 25
Three persons sustained injuries after an explosive went off in Sunawal of Nawalparasi district while the CPN-Maoist Centre was holding a rally as a part of its final day electioneering for local level elections scheduled for Wednesday.
Police are clueless about who planted the explosive under a stone near a bridge over a stream, Somnath Khola.
The explosive had gone off as soon as some buses carrying the cadres had reached the place.
Today is the last day for the party to carry out promotional activities before the voting to be held after three days.
