Loksewa to inform candidates about exams, results through mobile app

Kathmandu, June 15

Now, one can easily get information of activities related to the Loksewa Aayog (Public Service Commission) on their mobile phone with the launch of its official mobile app.

Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun today launched the app on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the constitutional body.

Information regarding publication of avertisements, examination routines and results can be obtained through the app after downloading ‘PSC Nepal’ from Playstore.

According to the PSC, it is going to make an arrangement of online payment as well to further improve the online application system.

Meanwhile, Vice-President Pun stressed the need of making easy access of people of remote areas to the Commission’s services.

He said, “Questions have not been raised so far over the fairness of the PSC at a time when the fairness of other constitutional bodies has been questioned time and again.”

Similarly, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said that PSC should be free from political meddling.

Likewise, PSC Chairman Umesh Mainali said that the PSC was planning to improve its assessment technology and examination standard, and to make complete change in syllabus of the gazetted first class non-technical stream.
