International Entrepreneurship Forum Conference to be held in Kathmandu

The 16th edition of International Entrepreneurship Forum (IEF) Conference -2017 will be held in Kathmandu of Nepal this week, the organisers have said.

Began in 2001 from Naples of Italy, the annual IEF Conference has already been organised in many countries including China, India, South Africa, Colombia, Turkey, Bahrain, Italy, Lithuania and Latvia.

King’s College, a leading business school in Kathmandu, will host the event from this Thursday to Saturday in coordination with the Essex Business School (EBS), London.

The three-day event with the theme “Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Economic Development” will include plenary and panel sessions, presentations and discussions on academic research papers, networking interlude, social interaction and awards for best papers.

Likewise, the conference will feature 13 stalls where 10 best entrepreneurial products by the Micro-Enterprise Development Prorgramme will be showcased; while five videos relating to entrepreneurial journey of aspiring and successful entrepreneurs and enterprises will also be screened.

A total of 600 Nepali and foreign participants including academicians, students, entrepreneurs, experts, researchers and practitioners from corporate houses, multilateral and bilateral partners from over 20 countries are set to attend the conference.
