Kathmandu, December 7
An improvised explosive device was found in Kaushaltar of Bhaktapur Constituency 2 while the voting was underway on Thursday.
A Nepali Army team defused the explosive found near the bridge between Kaushaltar and Balkot.
It has been suspected that cadres of Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’-led CPN planted the IED to terrorise members of the public against voting.
Earlier, another explosive was found in Purano Naikap of Kathmandu this morning.
