Kathmandu, May 7
Coordinator of Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal, Sharad Singh Bhandari, has said that the government’s annual policy and programme was against the sentiments of federalism.
At a press conference organised at Janakpur, Coordinator Bhandari said, “The government’s policy and programme has been found heading towards the path of regression.”
Bhandari said that the use of ‘my government’ was a sign of regression, he expressed the view that the government presented the policy and programme with the ‘centralised mentality’.
Bhandari said that his party would give continuity to the agitation until mistakes in the constitution were corrected, saying the government presented its discriminatory character without addressing dissatisfaction towards the constitution in its policy and programme.
He also blamed the government of carrying out activities to take the judiciary towards the wrong path.
