Kathmandu, March 21
The government says it won’t hold talks with the Netra Bikram Chand-led group until it lays down its arms.
Government spokesperson and communication minister Gokul Banskota, who was addressing a regular press conference, said that there was no point in talking to a group involved in violence.
The minister’s statement comes a week after the government banned the activities of the group. “We are ready to talk with them. But only for the right reasons,” said the minister.
