Govt decides to suspend bank accounts of all transport entrepreneurs’ committees

The government has decided to suspend bank accounts of all other transport entrepreneurs’ committees as well.

The government has already suspended the financial transaction of the 245 such committees that had protested the government decisions to end transport syndicate system.

A meeting held under the leadership of Minister of Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa on Tuesday decided to suspend the bank accounts of other transport committees too.

The Home Ministry has also directed all the concerned authorities to submit a detailed report of the movable and immovable properties, and shares of the transport committees to the Ministry and the Department of Transport Management within next 15 days.

The meeting has asked the Department to collect the details of the remaining transport organisations and committees and send it to the Ministry of Finance.
