Kathmandu, January 11
Police in Kathmandu say they have arrested three persons in connection with the murder of construction entrepreneur Sharad Kumar Gauchan.
Gauchan was murdered in Naya Baneshwor of Kathmandu on October 9 last year.
The Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu says Raj Kumar Shah of Udayapur, Surya Baji of Kathmandu and Shyam Gupta of Siraha were arrested.
SP Ram Dutta Joshi tells Onlinekhabar that the trio had assisted the shooters though they were not directly involved in the incident.
Earlier, police arrested seven persons including the accused mastermind Samir Man Singh Basnyat.
Meanwhile, police have submitted their investigation report on the case to the District Attorney Office today.
Responding to demands of the family and construction fraternity, the government has already decided to declare him a martyr.
