Janakpurdham, March 14
Former King Gyanendra Shah arrived in Janakpurdham of Dhanusha district on Wednesday evening on a three day pilgrimage in the eastern Madhesh region.
A crowd loyal to the monarchy welcomed him to the holy city, chanting slogans demanding for the revival of Hindu kingdom. The supporters had waited for a few hours in line waiting for the former ruler.
Shah had gone to Janakpur from Jhapa. He will stay there till Saturday.
It has been learned that Shah will go to various shrines of Sarlahi district on Thursday. Likewise, he will offer a worship to Janaki Temple of Janakpurdham at 4 pm today.
He will visit religious places of Udayapur district on Friday.
