Makawanpur, August 8
A movie theatre in Hetaunda, the provincial capital of Province 2, has been destroyed as it caught fire on Wednesday morning.
The Omax Cinema, operated by industrialist Narendra Maharajn, in Huprachaur, Hetaunda-4 had caught the fire today. Maharjan is also a member of the Film Development Board.
Officials of the Makawanpur District Police Office say a short circuit sparked the fire.
Meanwhile, efforts to douse the fire are still underway. Security personnel and locals are combating the fire.
Police on the other hand are looking into the case.
