Finance Minister heading to Fiji for ADB meeting

Kathmandu, April 30

Finance Minister Yuba Raj Ghimire is travelling to Fiji on Tuesday to take part in the 52nd meeting of the Board of Governors of Asian Development Bank.

The meeting is scheduled to be held in Nadi of Fiji.

Khatiwada will express Nepal’s official response to the agenda of the meeting as the delegation leader.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the minister will hold meetings with officials of the ADB, European Investment Bank and OPEC Fund for International Development. Likewise, he will chair and address an informal meeting of the finance ministers of SAARC member states.

Khatiwada’s secretariat has claimed that Khatiwada will deliver a message about improving investment environment in Nepal and take initiatives to attract international investors.

He will return home on Saturday evening.
