Kathmandu, March 28
Nepali Congress leader Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar says the election observation report recently published by the European Union is an interference in the sovereignty of the country.
The former deputy prime minister says any foreign country or organisation does not have right to comment on the country’s constitutional provisions.
“The European Union does not have any right to judge what is right and what is wrong in the provision of reservation guaranteed by Nepal’s constitution.”
Meanwhile, speaking with journalists at the Biratnagar Airport today, Gachhadar said he would not make any comment about the current government’s decisions and activities now as it is yet to complete its first 100 days.
