Udayapur, October 30
At least eight persons died when a Tata Sumo jeep met with an accident in Thanti of Upadyapur district in eastern Nepal on Monday.
The District Police Office says three persons sustained injuries as the jeep (Na 1 Ja 3404) fell around 300 metres down the road.
The jeep was heading to Okhaldhunga district headquarters from Katari of Udayapur.
A police team has gone to the incident site for the rescue operation.
