Kathmandu, May 5
The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee on Sunday called for complaints about proposed Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority chief Deep Basnyat and proposed Auditor General Tanka Mani Sharma.
Different meetings of the Constitutional Council had recommended their names for the appointment last week.
A meeting of the Committee held today also gave a period of 10 days to file complaints against the nominees.
After the expiry of 10 days, the Committee would hold hearings on them before forwarding the recommendations to President Bidya Devi Bhandari for the appointment.
