Kathmandu, March 24
China’s Defence Minister Chang Wanquan, who is on a three-day visit to Nepal, met Chief of Army Staff Gen Rajendra Chhetri in Kathmandu on Friday.
According to the Nepali Army, ties between the NA and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army were discussed during the meeting at the army HQ in Kathmandu.
The Chinese Army has been providing assistance to its Nepali counterparts for the last few years, According to official figures, the Nepali army has received assistance of over Rs 840 million from China in the past year.
