Biratnagar, October 13
Nepal Democratic Forum Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar says his party can merge with the Nepali Congress before provincial and federal parliamentary elections scheduled for November 26 and December 7.
Speaking with journalists in Biratnagar today, Gachhadar said discussions between top leaders of two parties were underway in this regard.
Meanwhile, he also informed that a broader democratic alliance would be made by incorporating other parties as well.
In another context, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development said the government was committed to holding both the elections on the scheduled date.
He said the Prime Minister could reshuffle his Cabinet any time he wants.
