Kathmandu, March 21
Five different thematic committees have been formed under the Cabinet to forward government’s activities in a right way.
A Cabinet meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar on Wednesday decided to form Political Committee, Economic and Infrastructure Committee, Administrative Committee, Social Committee and Legislative Committee, said Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Baskota.
The meeting also passed the working procedure to make PM’s advisory group and secretariat manageable. State Minister Baskota further said the government decided to reduce the number of officials at PM’s Secretariat as per the government policy of working in an economical way. Preparation was underway to limit 47-member Secretariat at 28 one.
