Brief rain likely in western hilly region of Nepal today

Isolated rain is likely to occur on Wednesday at few places of the western hilly region of the country with partly to generally cloudy conditions.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted this, citing the possibility of snowfall in high mountain region.

Likewise, brief rainfall is possible at one or two places of the western hilly region tonight and skies in the eastern and western hilly regions will remain partly to generally cloudy.

Weather in the rest of the country will remain fair today.

Most of eastern and western hilly regions, on Thursday, will see cloudies sky and skies in the rest of the country will generally remain clear. Hilly regions in the country including the Kathmandu Valley have witnessed cloudy skies since this morning.

As per the Division’s latest weather update, the Valley’s temperature has been measured minimum 9 degrees Celsius and maximum 22 degrees Celsius today. Temperature in Tapeljung and Jumla has dropped to minus and Biratnagar has reported the maximum 30 degrees Celsius.
