Central leader of the ruling Nepal Communist Party, Ghanashyam Bhusal, has said the unsettled issues about the unification of then CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre would be settled in next four to six months only.

It has been around one year since the two parties announced their unification and the formation of the NCP, but their sister organisations and local committees are yet to be identified.

Speaking with journalists in his home city, Butwal, on Thursday, the leader said it was sad that the unification process took such a long time.

He was of the view that the delay in the process had adverse effects on the national development.

In another context, the leader claimed that the agreement signed between the government and CK Raut was positive, but the process was wrong as the party kept in dark.
