Kathmandu, March 20
Sharat Singh Bhandari has been elected the coordinator of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN).
Bhandari has become the coordinator as per RJPN’s provision of changing the coordinator every two months. RJPN general secretary Keshab Jha said the decision to make Bhandari the coordinator was made during a meeting of the RJPN presidium on March 13, 14 and 15.
The RJPN was formed on April 20, 2017 with the unification of the various Madhes-centric political parties. The RJPN’s presidium has six members who take turns in assuming the post of the party coordinator.
