Bajeko Sekuwa opens in New York

Kathmandu, April 16

Bajeko Sekuwa, one of the most popular Nepali food chain restaurants, has opened an outlet in Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, New York.

This is the restaurant’s first-ever international outlet.

The outlet was recently launched amid a formal ceremony attended by celebrities Ram Krishna Dhakal, Jagadish Hamal and Gita Burlakoti.

A gathering of Nepalis in New York was also organised to mark the event. Deepak Bhandari, one of the investors at Bajeko Sekuwa says, “Finally, I feel close to Nepal and Nepali food.”

“With a target of opening six more Bajeko Sekuwa outlets across different parts of United States by 2024, we are confident that we will hit the right notes. I am confident about my brand and my team,” says Chairman of Bajeko Sekuwa Chetan Bhandari.

Bajeko Sekuwa currently has 13 outlets in Nepal. It is preparing to open outlets in Doha, Sydney, and Finland soon.
