Earlier, the Committee had called members of the public to file complaints against Nilamber Acharya, Udaya Raj Pandey, Krishna Dhakal and Anjan Shakya. They have been recommended to be appointed as Nepal’s ambassadors to India, Malaysia, UAE and Israel respectively.

Only one complaint was filed against them. Satish Raj Mainali filed the complaint on overall process of the appointment, according to the panel chair Laxman Lal Karna.

The parliamentary panel will also consult the complainant on Friday before conducting the hearing.
